Confab: noun, ˈkänˌfab,kənˈfab/:
an informal private conversation or discussion.

Join the movement!
Shine is more than a one-night conference; it’s a movement among young girls to change the tide of our culture. The biggest component of carrying this movement forward is through our Shine Confab. A confab is an informal, private discussion. Our confabs are designed around an 8 week curriculum where young girls can meet with an older mentor and discuss what it means to live for God in today’s society.

We would like to invite your daughter(s) to a night of testing our small group curriculum at a Shine Confab Launch Event on August 2 from 1-5 pm. This event will again be held at the Greenville Free Methodist Church, and it includes no cost to you! During this time, we will hold discussions about shining for God. It is our hope that small groups will form during this time to continue meeting throughout the fall. There will also be a choreography session where the girls will learn a group dance number. There will be several opportunities where the girls will be able to perform this dance throughout the metro-east area.

Any girl going into 5th through 9th grades is invited to attend our Confab Launch Event, whether they were able to participate in last November’s conference or not. Again, no dance training is required to participate.
